Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead the Procurement Finance team, driving operational performance and ensuring internal controls align with group policy.

You will provide leadership to procurement analysts, own the balance sheet integrity through monthly reviews, and deliver robust budget/forecasting processes while supporting the SLT and Controllers to optimise decisions.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA post-qualification experience gained within Retail, Manufacturing or FMCG.
• Experience of operational decision support.
• Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate to all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure Procurement analysts are engaged, developed and delivering to their potential.
• Own the internal control environment and balance sheet reviews, addressing audit risks.
• Provide decision support to the SLT and Controllers with factual information for optimal decisions.
• Lead budgeting/forecasting process within the procurement leadership team and stakeholders.
• Contribute to wider finance to improve controls, efficiency and ways of working.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner to lead the Procurement Finance team, to deliver optimal operational performance, and ensure that the internal control environment is implemented in line with group policy.

• Provide leadership and direction to ensure that the Procurement analysts are engaged, focused, developed and delivering to their full potential
• Take ownership of the internal control environment to ensure that identified risks (eg internal/external audit) are addressed. Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet through monthly detailed reviews and maintaining a detailed knowledge of balance sheet items including risks and opportunities
• To be a key member of the procurement team providing visible leadership and contributing to the running of the department. Provide decision support to the SLT and Controllers to ensure optimal decisions are made with factual information.
• Optimise procurement financial performance. Lead the process for a robust budget/forecasting process including communication within the procurement leadership team and to BULT stakeholders.
• Contribute to the wider finance team to ensure continuous improvement in controls, efficiency and ways of working.

What we’re looking for
