Elevation Accountancy and Finance is delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Rotherham area as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner into their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Production of monthly management accounts
  2. Review and explain variances to budget/forecast/previous year, producing support for all nominal ledger balances
  3. Maintain fixed asset model for easy extraction of year-end summaries, ensuring profit/losses on disposals are identified and documented promptly
  4. Maintain records and daily receipts
  5. Ensure accurate bank reconciliation and daily posting in the cash book
  6. Match purchase invoices to system purchase orders
  7. Manage purchase ledger: update supplier data, ensure expenditure is authorized, make payments as per terms, reconcile balances monthly
  8. Complete half-year and year-end audit files timely
  9. Participate in warehouse stock takes for accuracy
  10. Own the margin report, identify anomalies, review product margins
  11. Review stock price files for correct invoicing
  12. Perform monthly stock reconciliation
  13. Identify system utilization improvements
  14. Manage corporate credit card statements and receipts
  15. Produce expenditure and VAT analyses
  16. Assist with tax computations and resolve queries
Requirements:
  • Experience in management accounting and purchase ledger
  • Proficiency with Sage 200 accounting system
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a comprehensive approach to job responsibilities
