Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a Hampshire business to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a newly enhanced FP&A position. Reporting to the CFO, you will transform financial information into actionable insight and drive budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.

Expect involvement in ERP implementation and BI reporting to support commercial decisions. The role requires a fully qualified accountant with FP&A experience and advanced Excel skills, plus proficiency in Power BI and

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to automate reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts and long-range planning activities.
• Develop and enhance forecasting models covering P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Collaborate with operational leaders and managers to build accurate forecasts.
• Deliver analysis of revenue, margins, costs and profitability.
• Support pricing reviews and commercial decision-making.
• Assist with ERP implementation to improve data quality and reporting.
• Develop KPI reporting and dashboards using BI tools.

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth Hampshire-based business to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a newly enhanced FP&A position.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a commercially focused opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys transforming financial information into meaningful business insight.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

• Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts and long-range financial planning activities
• Develop and enhance forecasting models covering profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and funding requirements
• Work closely with operational leaders, sales teams and departmental managers to build accurate and commercially robust forecasts
• Deliver detailed analysis of revenue, margin performance, operating costs and business profitability
• Support pricing reviews, contract evaluations and commercial decision-making across the business
• Play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system, helping improve data quality, reporting capability and financial processes
• Develop KPI reporting and dashboard solutions using modern reporting and business intelligence tools

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering
• Strong track record of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to automate and enhance reporting processes
• Experience using ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI
