Job description

As a Junior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for working alongside the Finance Business Partner to manage key business relationships with key stakeholders within Finance and the Business. Your primary goal is to provide insights and strategic support to your business, supporting them with efficient and effective decision-making, leading to growth in the business. The role is based in Redhill and would require travelling to the office based on business demand.

Responsibilities
  • Own P&L management for respective business areas.
  • Work alongside Finance Business Partner to develop and implement a strategic business plan for the organization, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Support daily decision‑making on revenue and expense management actions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights to business leaders based on robust financial analysis and develop options for decision‑making.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance and insights on business strategy, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as underwriting, claims, finance, and legal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management on business performance and trends.
  • Monitor progress on projects impacting the business, report variances (cost, schedule, function, etc.) to relevant leadership.
  • Provide project managers with necessary business context and guidance.
Qualifications
