Job description

Anderson Knight are pleased to be partnering with our established client on the critical appointment ofFinance Business Partner. This is an opportunity to join a business going through a period of sustained growth and play a strategic role in driving the business forward.

Reporting directly to Director level, this role will play a critical part in decision making, partnering with Senior Management and key stakeholders to support key business units and deliver long term goals in a highly competitive sector.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake key month-end tasks including journal entries, financial analysis and KPI reporting
  • Conduct monthly cost centre reviews with budget holders, providing variance and trend analysis against budget and forecast, providing guidance and partnership on variance.
  • Lead the annual budget and forecasting process
  • Deliver financial analysis and support for third-party product costing and pricing agreements.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Identify and guide profit improvement initiatives, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units and build strong relationships across the business, acting as a collaborative business partner.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of key strategic initiatives and projects.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Fully Qualified ACCA/CA/CIMA Accountant
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a strategic partnership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence decision-making.
