A fast-growing organisation seeks a highly commercial Finance Business Partner.

Our client is a fast-growing organisation that is seeking to have a global impact through science and technology.


Your new role
As Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral part of the finance team that plans, analyses, and reports on the financial and operational aspects of dedicated initiatives and programmes. You will facilitate and drive forward the understanding of a dedicated cost base and add value to the business by assisting in the strategic, commercial, and operational decision-making through reporting, planning and analytical capabilities.


The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  1. Preparing the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts for designated business areas;
  2. Ensuring accurate financials and providing insights into variance trends;
  3. Submitting deliverables to required deadlines;
  4. Producing monthly reports for budget holders and leadership on the delivery of departmental budgets, including insightful variance analysis;
  5. Acting as a trusted advisor to budget holders, providing financial insights to support decision-making;
  6. Working closely with other departments to align financial strategies with business objectives;
  7. Analysing costs and recommending strategies for the best use of resources;
  8. Developing innovative solutions to complex problems and supporting change implementation and delivery;
  9. Continuous improvement of processes and management initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who can demonstrate relevant experience through a career that shows continuous growth and advancement. Experience in the preparation of financial and performance reports, including an understanding of MI reporting, is required, as well as being an excellent communicator with the ability to challenge and influence at senior levels with integrity and fairness. Experience with ERP, Planning and Reporting platforms and experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus. You will have worked in roles where you have been responsible for preparing and presenting management information and have experience of working with management accounting methodology. Most importantly, you will be able to explain complex financial information and concepts in a clear and concise format to non-financial individuals and be a results-oriented individual with a proven track record of relevant past achievements in driving and improving business results.
