Boots is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the IT Finance team. You will partner with IT leaders to understand performance, costs, and KPIs, delivering insightful analysis and clear commentary to support strategic decisions.

You will manage the offshore Genpact Finance Team, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and help improve finance processes and reporting for faster, more accurate insights across the IT function.

Formación

• Recently qualified or part-qualified accountant, such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse data and produce accurate reporting.
• Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to present insight clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Confidence working with financial data, commentary and variance analysis in a complex business environment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and support effective business partnering.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end planning, reporting and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
• Build a strong understanding of the IT cost base, providing insight, data and commentary to support wider FP&A reporting.
• Manage the offshore Genpact Finance Team, supporting high-quality output, effective collaboration and team development.
• Support business partnering activity across month-end, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Help drive understanding of KPIs, translating financial performance into clear, useful insight for stakeholders.
• Assist with the management of direct and indirect recharges across the wider business.
• Work with the Finance Business Partner on SG&A project initiatives when required.
• Maintain data integrity across SAP and Planning Analytics, contributing to future finance system enhancements.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Business and Group teams to deliver a consolidated view of performance.

Senior Finance Analyst - IT Finance Team

What you'll be doing

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our IT Finance team at Boots. In this role, you'll play a key part in driving effective business partnering across a fast-moving technology landscape, helping senior leaders understand performance, cost drivers and KPIs. You'll deliver insightful analysis, high-quality reporting and clear commentary that supports strategic decision-making across IT Finance and the wider business. You'll also manage the offshore Genpact Finance Team, support budgeting and forecasting activity, and help improve finance processes, systems and reporting so the team can work with greater accuracy, pace and impact.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves)

• Recently qualified or part-qualified accountant, such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience using SAP.
• Experience with Planning Analytics or similar planning and reporting tools.
• A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, inclusive approach to teamwork.
• Experience supporting finance system enhancements or working across shared service or offshore finance delivery models.
• Strong financial discipline and the confidence to partner with senior leaders.
