The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of business decision-making, working closely with operational teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior management to provide strategic financial insight and business support
  • Prepare detailed management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Lead monthly business reviews and present findings to stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across finance functions
  • Support budgeting and planning cycles with operational teams
  • Conduct profitability analysis and margin improvement projects
  • Assist with project appraisals and capital investment decisions
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Recently qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist with strong academic results
  • 2-4 years' experience in a finance role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proactive approach with genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving

Desirable:

  • Experience with financial modelling and business case development
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting
  • PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools
  • Previous exposure to continuous improvement methodologies
