Vacancies:

We are recruiting for roles across various services, including Financial Reporting, Treasury and Capital, Children’s Services, Adults, Regeneration Housing and Environment, and Housing Benefits. We welcome applications from newly qualified professionals or those seeking their next challenge.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting processes and ensure account accuracy.
• Support the Council’s capital programmes and funding.
• Coordinate the Medium Term Financial Plan and monthly management reports.
• Oversee financial operations in adult services, education, and SEND.
• Manage finances related to regeneration, housing, environmental services, and public health.
• Support financial management across Corporate Resources, Revenue & Benefits, and other services.

Your Role:

• Provide financial oversight and support across services.
• Monitor costs and forecast financial performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
• Utilize financial systems (Microsoft, Agresso) effectively.

Candidate Profile:

• Newly qualified or experienced finance professionals.
• Chartered qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Energetic, driven, and passionate about finance.
• Proficient with technology and accounting tools.
