Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Manchester is seeking a commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join the Retail, Transport & Mobile Finance team. You will partner with operational and senior leaders, providing financial insight, challenge and strategic support to drive performance.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, variance analysis and maintaining robust controls, with exposure to a major global retail client.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong experience within a Finance Business Partnering or commercial finance role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational, commercial and senior leadership teams to drive financial performance and support key business decisions.
• Deliver insightful financial reporting, identifying risks, opportunities and actions to improve business performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning activities, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of financial performance.
• Produce accurate month-end reporting, including management accounts, variance analysis and performance commentary.

Role Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
