Job description

Founded in 2012, LADbible Group is redefining entertainment and news for a social generation. Our global community engages with our content–spanning editorial, video, documentary and live – we reach 1 billion people each and every month. Our mission is to give the youth generation a voice by building communities that laugh, think and act.Using all major platforms, we’ve rapidly risen to become one of the world's largest publishers.

Here at LAD, we are on the lookout for a cost focused Finance Business Partner, to join our talented finance team based here in Manchester.

If you are a finance professional with experience of working in a fast-paced environment, then please get in touch. The role is new due to business expansion. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business in senior positions and be at the absolute centre of cost reporting, budgeting, forecasting and decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Senior Finance Business Partner, COO, and SLT to deliver financial insights that shape key business decisions.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across our Indirect Revenue divisions.
  • Develop and own scalable, consistent group reporting models that improve efficiency and clarity across the business.
  • Produce accurate and timely management reporting — including P&L summaries, KPI dashboards, and performance variance commentary.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Deliver commercial analysis to highlight performance drivers, trends, and opportunities for growth or cost optimisation.
  • Mentor and manage a Finance Analyst, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Champion continuous improvement in our reporting tools, processes, and systems.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Lead on ad hoc financial analysis and business case development, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and governance across all finance deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant experience in business partnering or commercial finance.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of business performance drivers.
  • Sharp analytical skills and an ability to distil complex data into meaningful insight.
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to bring financial storytelling to life for non-financial audiences.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial systems or modelling tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment — self-starter with great time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and a growth mindset.

At LADbible Group we've rolled out blended working which means the majority of departments across the business (including London, Manchester and International offices) work in the office 3 days per week.
