Global Accounting Network are currently partnered exclusively with an established business in the Woodford Green area to recruit for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a part or newly qualified finance professional to develop their career in a commercial role, this could also suit somebody who is qualified by experience and looking to utilise their commercial finance experience to support a growing business with managing their sites and contracts.

In return this is a flexible role, you will have the ability to work flexibly with some in-office working, some site-based working in locations across London and the ability to work from home. There will be a fair degree of autonomy to choose your own working pattern and times. • Organised and methodical,
• Previous month-end reporting experience,
• Highly personable with the ability to forge strong working relationships internally and externally,
• Experience compiling financial reports and presenting to non-finance teams.

Main responsibilities:

• P&L analysis,
• Monthly reporting on performance,
• Variance analysis,
• KPI reporting,
• Reviewing costs and supporting business units with cost control,
• Reviewing the balance sheet monthly,
• Delivering month end results,
• Presenting the period's finance results to senior management,
• Attending and leading finance meetings for business units,
• Review of aged debtors to support with minimising debt,
• Partnering with budget-holders to provide financial guidance,
• Annual budgeting and forecasting, accruals and deferrals,
• Working closely with other Finance Business Partners to improve processes and ensure consistent support across sites,
• Various other ad-hoc tasks to support the wider business and finance team.
