Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Location: London, Hybrid working with 1 day per week in the office

We are hiring a Finance Business Partner to join our Group FP&A team based in our London office. This is an exciting opportunity to support BSI’s Finance and Property & Facilities Management (PFM) functions, managing an annual cost base of over £65 million.

You will partner directly with functional leadership and the Head of FP&A to deliver strategic goals, drive operational efficiency, and provide insightful analysis to influence decision-making at the highest levels. This role will suit someone with strong commercial acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to challenge and guide senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership

  • Build strong relationships and provide high-quality financial support to leadership across Finance and Property & Facilities Management (PFM).
  • Deliver data-led insights to the Head of FP&A and key stakeholders to influence decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive accountability.
  • Collaborate effectively with global finance colleagues, including local regions, Finance Business Services (FBS), and the Corporate Centre.

Business Performance Reporting

  • Support the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
  • Produce monthly management reports with high-quality commentary and insights on performance, trends, and comparatives.
  • Play a major role in performance reviews with Finance and PFM senior leadership, presenting key insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities to Group FP&A and relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and influence outcomes.

Forecasting and Planning

  • Lead the development and delivery of the annual Financial Plan, periodic Forecasts, and monthly Outturns for supported functions.
  • Ensure financial models are robust, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist leadership in presenting and communicating planning outcomes and forecasts.

Strategy Development

  • Contribute to the development of the long-range strategic plan (3–5 years), incorporating market dynamics, competitor analysis, internal drivers, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Provide strategic metrics, analytics, and scenario modelling to support long-term planning.
  • Ensure functional cost models are aligned with group and divisional strategic requirements.

About You:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong FP&A or management accounting experience.
  • Skilled in business performance reporting, forecasting, and KPI development.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and influencing through data-led insights.
  • Excellent analytical and narrative skills – able to turn complex metrics into actionable strategies.
  • Experienced in ERP systems (preferably SAP), Excel, and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, collaborative, and solution-oriented.
