Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days in office)
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Reports To: Senior Finance Business Partner - Commercial

About the Role:
This role sits within the commercial finance function of a major media and entertainment group. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to revenue-generating teams, playing a key role in supporting commercial decision-making, shaping business plans, and driving value through insight and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight across advertising and digital revenue streams.
  • Analyse key performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support delivery of in-year targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of trading models, competitor landscape, and advertising technologies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, advising on trade-offs and scenario modelling.
  • Collaborate with tech and BI teams to improve reporting tools and ensure accuracy of key performance metrics.
  • Lead on strategic cost management and challenge investment decisions to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and accounting quality.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience in a fast-paced, commercial finance environment.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a curious and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Strong Excel skills and confident working across a range of systems and tools.
  • Proactive, action-oriented, and adaptable to change; thrives in a dynamic environment.
Desirable:
  • Prior exposure to media, entertainment, technology, or advertising sectors is advantageous.
