Job Description

Your new company is an exciting newcomer to the travel industry, in their third year and growing rapidly. Based in Purfleet / Grays, you will only be asked to travel to the office two days per week. The team is friendly, and the offices are new and spacious. Parking is available onsite.

Your new role is a Finance Business Partner, concentrating on the business's three revenue streams. You will focus on maximising profits by working closely with the commercial team. This role will interface closely with our Chief Revenue Officer, Head of Distribution, and Head of Inventory & Trading, reporting to the senior finance business partner.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for all revenue streams and KPI data, including channel analysis.
• Lead business performance analysis for all revenue streams, monitoring against targets and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Provide sales insights within the sales process to maximise yields and support strategic decision-making.
• Review costs and margin performance, identifying opportunities for profit optimisation and cost control.
• Develop financial models and business cases for capital investments.
• Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for all revenue streams and associated costs.
• Develop business partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Support and prepare ad hoc analysis for the Commercial Board Pack.
• Collaborate with the reporting team to provide insights and commentary for internal and external reporting.
• Perform various ad hoc reports and tasks as required.

Management: Lead and develop the Junior Finance Business Partner.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in travel, retail, or entertainment/leisure sectors, with a focus on revenue analysis.
• Background in analysis roles, with a desire to progress into a business partner position.
• Own transport due to office location.
• Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA is preferred.
