Finance Business Partner
Location: South of England (with occasional travel to offices in London, Essex, Brighton)

Initially 6 months and Market Rate - Inside IR35

About the Team

You'll report directly to a Finance Manager, playing a key role in supporting senior leaders with actionable insights to influence decisions and deliver strategic and financial EBIT targets.

What you'll be doing:

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll:

  • Provide trusted financial insights and analysis to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making.
  • Lead on monthly financial reporting, including Gross Margin and OPEX, explaining key variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Take ownership of consolidated financial reporting for subsidiary entities, ensuring timely and accurate group reporting.
  • Deliver insightful written commentary and present financial performance to senior leadership, up to Director level.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to produce accurate, insightful forecasts (both annual and in-year).
  • Identify and drive cost-saving and margin improvement initiatives to enhance bottom-line performance.
  • Support continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and reporting tools.
What we're looking for
  • Ideally a Chartered Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE with strong analytical and business partnering skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills (experience with Anaplan is desirable).
  • Ability to balance independent work with cross-functional collaboration.
