Overview of role

• Part of the Global GA Finance team based in London
• Provide direct Finance support and oversight to the offices in geographies where we have outsourced the accounting function (Netherlands, Belgium, CEE CIS, Greece, Turkey)
• Provide support on global advisory business processes, initiatives, and projects

Responsibilities

• Global financial reporting – outsourced geographies
  • Manage financial relationship with Office heads. Present the financial position regularly - revenue, forward pipeline, P&L, headcount, Debtors, cash flow management. Oversee Forecasting and Budgeting for these entities.
  • Manage relationships with local outsourced accountants and tax advisors – challenging the veracity of the month and quarter end submissions, revenue and fee splits, costs including accruals and intercompany bookings, local GAAP vs IFRS requirements, assist with audits and annual accounts preparation, tax compliance.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end Group timetable for outsourced entities - updating local revenue pipelines, submissions to the Group consolidation and intercompany systems; booking European management accounting adjustments.
• Global advisory business processes, initiatives, and projects
  • Support global partnership requirements, including banker deal sheets.
  • Support global initiatives and projects such as annual planning and system implementations.
  • Support pricing queries and maintenance of the global pricing database.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider GA finance team as required.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and highly numerate.
• Confidence to communicate clearly (both written and verbal) with various stakeholders at all levels across the business.
• Excellent organisational skills with experience of managing time to deliver on a number of projects concurrently.
• Ability to manage a varied and often pressured workload; self-starter able to take the initiative.
• Advance excel proficiency; able to manage large volumes of data.
• Proficiency in presentation production (incl. PowerPoint).

Experience required

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 1-3 years Post Qualified experience.
• SAP, SAP-FC experience welcomed.
