About the Department:

Our Business Partnering team provides commercial financial support and challenge to senior stakeholders within our business. The role involves providing financial support and analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making, working closely with the Adviser business and the broader Finance function.

The role includes active participation in senior stakeholder meetings and providing critical support and analysis in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work with colleagues and key stakeholders to support informed commercial and strategic decision-making, ensuring objectives are met. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality insight and information production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial models and analysis to support commercial and strategic decisions, including market analysis, performance tracking, and forecasting.
  • Evaluating non-routine financial performance analyses and providing improvement recommendations.
  • Supporting routine analysis production and ensuring integration within Financial Operations and Reporting procedures.
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to support new business initiatives with appropriate technical and financial records.
  • Developing automated reporting and analysis tools using new technologies.
  • Ensuring analysis is based on robust data sources with proper validation.

About the Candidate:

  • Ability to interpret and communicate data effectively, leveraging market insights.
  • Providing guidance that balances business needs and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial modelling.
  • Awareness of digital technologies.
