Job description

Gleeson Recruitment are working with a business based in Derby that are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team.

The business is offering a competitive salary, along with a car allowance and hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights and advice, helping guide key business decisions.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Analyse financial performance, spot trends, and offer recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of results and aligning with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various business teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive financial performance.
  • Provide financial expertise for project evaluations, business initiatives, and investment decisions.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification, or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience in finance business partnering, with a strong ability to advise and influence senior management.
  • Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with great attention to detail.
