Job description

Finance Business Partner

Your team

Reporting into the Finance Manager the Finance Business Partner will work with the wider UK&I Finance function, the role will support with handling spend within the UK&I Central costs team. They will be working closely with the business to analyse performance as well as producing monthly P&L views of costs and supervising future spend against forecasts.

This role is a phenomenal opportunity for someone recently qualified and looking for that first or second commercial role.

What you`ll do

  • Prepare monthly revenue or cost reviews with analysis of key drivers for variances, commentary and challenges.
  • Key support for overall divisional Opex analysis - compiling and analysing financial data from multiple brands and functions across UKI division.
  • Business impact modelling and scenario planning through data analysis.
  • Develop regular performance reporting for various internal partner groups to gain insight into to what is successful to advise future activity and forecasts.
  • Provide financial partnering and commercial support to the business within a fast paced and very driven industry sector.
  • Undertaking ad hoc commercial project work, collaborating closely with the business and, where appropriate, communicating findings back to the management group.
  • Partner with different areas of the business and challenge them to deliver budgets and agreed targets.
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required
  • Fully qualified accountant through a recognised professional body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
  • Highly numerate with strong financial and analytical skills
  • Proven record for getting things done on time and to a high quality.
  • Strong communication - articulate with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Proactivity - with the ability to work using own initiative and with a questioning nature.
  • Experience of management accounting, reporting and budgeting/forecasting.
