Job description

We are looking for a finance professional to join our clients central finance team based in Ipswich. With up to 30 days of annual leave, yearly salary increases and more on offer, this position could be a great step in your career!

We want an enthusiastic individual with a positive working attitude to join our team of over 4,000 colleagues across the UK. The Finance Business Partner will take responsibility to produce accurate and timely management accounts. This will involve full end to end month end processes plus full budget and forecasting cycles.

  • Production of accurate monthly management accounts for the division, including accrual calculations and accounting adjustments in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards & company policies
  • Prepare variance analysis for operational services and support functions within the division
  • Monthly management reporting including KPIs
  • Ensure that budgets are monitored effectively and actions to address any issues are discussed with the Operational Heads
  • Full balance sheet reconciliations for the division
  • Manage the month-end timetable and communications with all relevant parties
  • Production of budget and forecasts, working closely with the Operational Heads
    Identify risks and support with mitigation strategies
  • Provide commercial support including bidding, pricing, and investment appraisals
  • Provide financial support on contract mobilisations/demobilisations
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, and produce information as/when requested*
  • Provide support to the Senior Finance Business Partner on financial matters
  • Support Operational Heads with adhoc tasks, as/when required

Requirements:

  • Qualified or in final stage of ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Previous experience in management accounting role
