We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Partner to join our clients growing team within their finance function. This isn't just any finance role - within this role you'll build strong relationships with business stakeholders to develop functional cost base insight and influence decision making.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and strategic guidance to enhance organisational performance. This position requires a strong background in financial services, leadership capabilities, and expertise in financial management. The Finance Partner will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure effective financial accounting and reporting.

Duties
  1. Take the lead in expense partnering for fast-paced functions, where your expertise and influence will directly impact key business outcomes, including growth, profitability, and customer service.
  2. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Finance Director and business unit executives.
  3. Provide top-tier partnering support by transforming data and financial figures into compelling business insights and storyboards, influencing decision-making at all levels to drive cost management and broader strategic objectives.
  4. Guide leadership and Finance Directors (FDs) in fostering a cost-conscious culture and proactively managing expenditures.
  5. Enhance standard cost reporting from the central expense team with valuable insights and ad-hoc cost analysis.
Requirements
  1. ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  2. Strong relationship management, analytical, negotiating and influencing skills.
  3. Experience of presenting to a senior audience, whether on-line or in person.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to work at the most senior levels of organisations.
  5. Proactive, energetic and versatile with a "can do" approach.
