Job description

We have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team, aligned to one of PA Media Group's divisions. As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, providing proactive support to divisional leaders, and driving long-term sustainable growth. You will build trusted relationships across the business, providing insight, challenge, and commercial guidance to enable better decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial analysis and insight to divisional leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles.
  • Monitor performance against plan, providing clear challenge and guidance to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Develop financial models and dashboards to strengthen commercial awareness across the division.
  • Present analysis and recommendations in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.

To succeed in this role, you will be commercially minded, analytical, and confident working with senior stakeholders. You will enjoy working collaboratively, influencing decisions, and helping shape the direction of a growing business. You will bring:

Qualifications
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or be part-qualified/qualified by experience).
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
  • Ability to interpret financial data, draw insights, and communicate them clearly.

  • Proven ability to influence, challenge, and build effective relationships.
