Finance Business Partner - Glasgow/Hybrid - 6-month contract

On behalf of our public sector client, we are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team providing essential financial insight and support across the organisation. This is a key role in driving effective financial planning, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

Duties:

• Provide financial support and analysis to business units

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting

• Prepare accruals and adjustments, and ensure account validation

• Ensure compliance with financial governance and internal controls

• Conduct financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities

• Support investment appraisals and cost modelling

• Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks

Essential Skills & Experience

• Part-qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA)

• Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills

• Solid understanding of financial control, risk, and compliance

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Experience in financial planning and reporting

Desirable
