Job summary

Henry Schein UK Holdings is seeking a senior finance professional to act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, translating performance into actionable commentary for strategic decisions. You will model planning scenarios, forecast results, and support budgeting with robust analysis and governance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support strategic and operational decision‑making
• Translate financial results into clear, actionable commentary on performance, risks, and opportunities
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting, business cases and investment proposals, and scenario/sensitivity/options analysis
• Analyse and interpret trading performance data, identifying key financial and operational drivers, trends, and risks to support forecasting, performance management, and business decisions
• Collaborate with business leads on monthly forecasts and communicate risks and opportunities to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting
• Collaborate with business leads on annual budget and preparation of budget presentation to MD
• Load budgets into ERP and complete group deliverables
• Review and challenge outputs prepared by the GBS team, including monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, journals and accruals, month-end close deliverables
• Drive continuous improvement in GBS processes, focusing on standardisation, automation, and efficiency
• Partner with GBS to improve service quality, knowledge transfer, and issue prevention
• Promote a strong control mindset while enabling a value-adding, business-focused finance function
• Ad hoc tasks as and when required by Senior manager Financial reporting or CFO UK&I
