Finance Business Partner - Maternity Cover (until March 2026) | Location: Farnborough | Pay: £29.59 per hour PAYE | Industry: Leading Aerospace & Defence Company

Are you a qualified accountant looking to make an impact in a dynamic, high-profile organisation? We're seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a leading Aerospace & Defence company on a maternity cover contract running until March 2026. In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, budget owners, and the finance leadership team to deliver high-quality financial insight, analysis, and decision support. Acting as a trusted partner, you will provide proactive financial guidance to drive accountability, enable informed decisions, and support the delivery of key strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insight, challenge, and support.
• Deliver monthly reporting and variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary.
• Support annual budget setting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Build and maintain robust financial models, forecasts, and business cases.
• Provide cost analysis and guidance to cost centre owners.
• Prepare management reporting packs and contribute to Board-level reporting.
• Drive process improvements and support system enhancements (D365).

About You

• Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong business partnering experience with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Skilled in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Confident communicator, able to simplify complex financial information for non-finance audiences.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel user, with experience of MS Suite; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics an advantage.
• Analytical, detail-focused, and comfortable working with large data sets.
