Job description
What you will do

Ocean Infinity is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Group Finance team, working closely with our different entities to provide financial leadership, analysis, and strategic insight. In this role, you will partner with business leaders on investment decisions, manage multi-currency P&L reporting, and act as the key financial link between each business unit and Group Finance, ensuring compliance and supporting disciplined growth.

Duties and key responsibilities
  • Strategic partner to the business - not only providing financial control but actively influencing commercial decisions.
  • Own and develop the UK P&L, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful multi-currency reporting.
  • Oversee and review P&Ls across entities in multiple geographies, providing consolidated results and clear commentary, even where data quality and reporting standards differ.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management at both project and consolidated P&L level, with strong focus on accuracy, forward visibility, and alignment to Group targets.
  • Build and present investment cases for assets, headcount, and technology development.
  • Provide clear financial recommendations to support pricing, margin analysis, and capital allocation.
  • Ensure robust financial governance, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Group reporting policies.
  • Manage financial information flow between Group and entities, tailored to security clearance requirements and appropriate confidentiality levels.
  • Lead scenario planning and financial modelling linked to commercial triggers (e.g., contract wins, backlog, asset readiness).
  • Work closely with operational leaders to track KPIs, costs, and profitability both by project and business unit.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements within the business.
Who you are:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical grounding in accounting and financial management.
  • Proven track record in finance business partnering or FP&A within complex, highly regulated organisations.
  • Experienced in managing multi-jurisdiction P&Ls (UK, Americas, Asia-Pacific), consolidating results, and presenting insights at Group level.
  • Skilled in analysing complex contracts and navigating compliance-heavy commercial structures.
  • Commercially minded, with advanced financial modelling and analysis skills.
  • Strategic thinker and trusted business partner, able to challenge assumptions, influence decision-making, and shape investment and growth priorities with senior leadership.
  • Excellent communicator who can bring numbers to life for both finance and non-finance stakeholders, including divisional and regional leadership.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to extract insights and turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrates integrity, credibility, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Resilient, collaborative, and self-driven, thriving in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
