Cedar in Crewe is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a fast-growing, PE-backed infrastructure business. Reporting to the Finance Director, this high-profile role partners with commercial and operational leaders to improve project profitability, cash generation and working capital.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, provide clear insight into contract performance, challenge commercial assumptions, and drive financial

Formación

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in infrastructure/contract-led environments.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Provide insight into contract and project performance.
• Challenge commercial assumptions, forecasts, risks and opportunities.
• Participate in monthly contract reviews and drive financial accountability.
• Own divisional cash-flow forecasting and improve billing, collections and cash lock-up.
• Support integration of acquired businesses and embed consistent financial processes.

Finance Business Partner, PE backed Infrastructure, Crewe, £70-80k + bonus

We are partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed infrastructure business to appoint a commercially minded Finance Business Partner.

This is a newly created role, reporting to the Finance Director, this is a high-profile role working closely with commercial and operational leaders to improve project performance, profitability, cash generation and working capital.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading budgeting and quarterly forecasting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Providing clear insight into contract and project performance
• Challenging commercial assumptions, forecasts, risks and opportunities
• Participating in monthly contract reviews and driving greater financial accountability
• Owning divisional cash-flow forecasting and improving billing, collections and cash lock-up
• Supporting the integration of acquired businesses and embedding consistent financial processes

We are looking for:

• A qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Experience working in an; Infrastructure, Transportation, Construction, Heavy contract led environment
• Strong Finance Business Partnering or commercial finance experienceProven ownership of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• The confidence to influence senior commercial and operational stakeholders
• A track record of improving financial performance, cash flow or working capital
