Job summary

The Consortium Academy Trust is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. You will provide financial planning, monitoring and budget advice for designated academies, ensuring robust financial controls and insightful reporting for key stakeholders.

We value a team player who can bring data-driven analysis, collaborate with schools and drive informed financial decisions across the trust. Experience with budgets and forecasting is essential; GCSE English/Maths and accounting

  • Ability to extract, interpret and analyse large quantities of data using different IT packages.
  • GCSE English and Maths with a preference for accounting qualifications.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial planning, monitoring and budget advice for designated academies. You will be responsible for maintaining strong financial controls within the schools, providing reporting and insight to stakeholders and support key decision makers on financial matters.

About You
  • experience of working with budgets including budget setting, planning, forecasting and monitoring
  • ability to extract, interpret and analyse large quantities of data using different IT packages
  • education to GCSE level for English and Maths with a preference for accounting qualifications
  • will be able to work well as part of a team and integrate into their schools to partner their needs
