We're seeking a dynamic Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team, taking a central role in influencing strategic decision-making across the business. This position is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and excels at building strong partnerships across departments.

As a key finance leader, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide insights, challenge assumptions, and support forward-looking planning processes. You'll be instrumental in the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring that commercial strategies are underpinned by solid financial data and analysis.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partner with senior leaders and budget holders to deliver insightful analysis that drives informed, strategic decisions.
  • Promote financial ownership within operational teams by equipping them with meaningful, easy-to-understand financial information.
  • Liaise with offshore teams, resolving issues and validating financial inputs.
  • Identify opportunities for commercial improvement, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead investigations into variances, working collaboratively to uncover root causes and suggest actions.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to gather and interpret key financial data.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive monthly reporting pack.
  • Present key financial and operational metrics at departmental meetings, covering performance trends, risks, KPIs, and forecasts.
  • Support the creation of rolling profit and loss forecasts with accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in delivering timely budgets and forecasts alongside the Head of FP&A.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking and prepare competitive analysis reports.

Your Experience & Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) ideally
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and challenging the status quo where needed.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and tight deadlines independently.
  • Confident communicator who can translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills, particularly in financial modelling, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Detail-focused while maintaining a strategic outlook.
  • Solid experience with Excel and SharePoint; Power BI skills highly desirable.
