Finance Business Partner

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to become the first point of contact for any financial matters from EMEA IT stakeholders, offering financial analysis and insights to support decision making and optimise costs.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing the month-end process in collaboration with cross-functional teams, monitoring and reporting on financial performance, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to manage cost-sharing agreements effectively and seek ways to enhance and improve processes continuously. Your role will also involve reviewing business cases for IT programmes and strategic initiatives, supporting any financial modelling needs.

  • Become the first point of contact for any financial matters from EMEA IT stakeholders.
  • Ownership of month-end process in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance (Capex / Revex), highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Offer financial analysis and insights to support decision making and optimise costs.
  • Ownership of costs analytics with explanations for variances against plan through a detailed understanding of business and cost drivers.
  • Management of cost-sharing agreements/SLAs with other global entities.
  • Seek ways to enhance and improve processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Review of business cases for IT programmes and strategic initiatives with support in any financial modelling needs.
What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role will bring a wealth of experience in IT finance or finance business partnering/management reporting. With at least 4 years post-qualification experience under your belt, you are well-versed in producing and presenting complex financial information concisely. Your excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills coupled with your strong numerical and analytical abilities make you a formidable force in strategic thinking. A professional accounting qualification is preferred but not essential. Above all, you are a strong team player who is self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for finance and technology.

  • Preferred professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICAEW)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of PQE in IT Finance or Finance Business Partnering / Management Reporting.
  • A strong team player, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with proven experience of being able to produce and present complex financial information concisely.
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strategic thinker with passion for Finance and Technology.
