Responsibilities
- Operational Finance: Timesheet and expense processing, support procurement activities, assist with invoice processing and resolution
- Financial Control: Balance sheet reconciliations, maintain accurate records, budget monitoring and variance analysis, contribute to reporting monthly/quarterly cycles, year-end audit prep
- Compliance & Improvement: ensure adherence to internal controls, identify process improvements, stakeholder support on finance queries
- Project Accounting: Support Project Managers to assist with project performance tracking, maintain effective contract records
- Cash Management: Maximise invoicing, drive efficient credit control
Qualifications
- Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong transactional finance experience
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas)
- An eye for detail, focused on quality and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Valid driving licence
- Experience in project-based or engineering environments (advantageous)
