Global Accounting Network is currently partnered exclusively with an established business in the Woodford Green area to recruit for an experienced Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for a part-qualified or newly qualified finance professional seeking to develop their career in a commercial role. It may also suit someone qualified by experience who wants to leverage their commercial finance expertise to support a growing business managing sites and contracts.

The position offers flexibility, including a mix of in-office, site-based, and remote work. You will have the autonomy to choose your working pattern. The team is supportive, and the leadership promotes work-life balance and professional development. The office is accessible with parking and is a short walk from the tube station. This opportunity is suitable for a part or fully qualified accountant or someone qualified by experience to take ownership of business partnering within their designated locations and teams.

Responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing costs and supporting business units with cost control
2. Monthly review of the balance sheet
3. Delivering month-end results
4. Presenting financial results to senior management
5. Leading finance meetings for business units
6. Reviewing aged debtors to minimize debt
7. Partnering with budget-holders to provide financial guidance
8. Annual budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and deferrals
9. Collaborating with other Finance Business Partners to improve processes and ensure support consistency
10. Performing ad-hoc tasks to support the wider business and finance team
