Robertson Bell is delighted to be supporting a prominent organisation as they recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work across a range of major projects—delivering impactful financial support, insight, and business partnering at a strategic level.

As the Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with Managers and senior stakeholders to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Taking the lead on quarterly financial reporting for your business areas.
  • Supporting the budgeting process and delivering financial insight across various projects.
  • Providing expert financial analysis and guidance to budget holders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance with internal financial regulations.
  • Developing strong working relationships across finance, and business teams, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Attending senior leadership meetings to share insight and represent finance at executive level.

This role is offered with highly flexible working arrangements. You’ll be based at their Swindon office just one day per week. You’ll receive an outstanding pension contribution 30 days' annual leave and excellent support for professional development—including study support.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a part-qualified Accountant (or qualified by experience) with solid management accounting expertise.
  • Bring proven skills in financial forecasting and budget monitoring, with the ability to ask insightful questions and interpret beyond the numbers.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and experience in explaining financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ideally have some experience of working in complex matrix organisations.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach and a service mindset—motivated to support teams and improve systems.
