Finance Business Partner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Manufacturing UK Finance team, supporting the UK Manufacturing function of more than 1,000 employees.

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: We will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working depending on project needs.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

Join a growing team passionate about delivering quality advice and support to the manufacturing team. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be embedded within a multi-function environment, providing services to both finance and non-finance functions to support financial objectives.

This role offers broad experience in manufacturing finance, involving cost base and project management, with potential for progression within the team.

You will:

• Have financial responsibility for specific programmes
• Support Unit Production Costs (UPCs) management
• Control overhead costs of allocated departments
• Be involved in SAP 4/HANA implementation

What we're looking for:

• Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant with experience in a large manufacturing environment
• Experience in project and overhead cost control
• Knowledge of SAP (R3 and/or HANA) and Manufacturing Execution Systems is advantageous
• Experience as a Business Partner to Non-Finance stakeholders
• Knowledge of manufacturing performance metrics
• Willingness to travel between MBDA UK sites
