Finance Business Partner

Location: Birmingham City Centre

The business is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner to be part of our small Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role will report directly to the Head of FP&A and work alongside a business analyst.

Role and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Business partnering with key stakeholders to understand & develop their KPI reporting requirements both ad-hoc and ongoing.
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders, supporting them in converting complex data into meaningful actions.
  • Maintain & further automate existing Power BI Reports.
  • Support the Head of FP&A in understanding & interpreting the data into meaningful narrative.
  • Support with modelling for the annual budgeting process & ad-hoc projects.
  • Improve monthly Finance reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet etc.) in Sage Intacct.
Key Skills & Experience
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail & a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex/detailed concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI, DAX, and PowerQuery.
