Finance Business Partner

About the Role

A dynamic professional services firm is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial insights and support one of its key divisions. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role involves close collaboration with senior management and stakeholders to drive financial performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct financial analysis, assessing performance against budgets and forecasts
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and financial models for strategic planning
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for decision-making

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes
• Provide variance analysis to support financial performance management
• Work closely with leadership to align financial planning with business goals

Business Partnering

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing financial insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as HR & Business Operations
• Support special projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives

Performance Management

• Monitor financial KPIs and recommend cost optimisation initiatives
• Assist in setting targets and tracking progress toward strategic goals

Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (ACCA/CIMA preferred) Experience in a Finance Business Partner role within professional services Strong financial analysis & reporting skills, with expertise in Excel and financial modelling Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Planful, or similar tools) Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels Strategic thinker with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
