Job description

Due to company growth, a leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Finance Business Partner. Offering excellent career development opportunities, you will play a key role in supporting the senior leadership team and key departments to provide financial insights and reporting to drive continued growth. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collate and analyse data to determine costs to inform pricing decisions.
  2. Analyse and challenge cost drivers, working closely with departments to optimise spending and improve efficiency.
  3. Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  4. Conduct regular analysis of financial results, KPIs, and business performance.
  5. Support financial planning initiatives, including long-term strategy development, capital investments and financial modelling.
  6. Provide financial insight and support to key projects, ensuring financial viability and tracking project costs and benefits.
  7. Conduct detailed ad hoc analysis for various business needs, helping the leadership team make informed decisions.
The Person:
  1. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  2. Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and the senior leadership team.
  3. Proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions.
  4. Ability to think strategically and support business decisions with strong financial insight.
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into business-friendly terms.
  6. Experience working in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, engineering, distribution, logistics or similar preferred).
  7. Highly accurate and detail-oriented, ensuring that financial data and reports are precise.
