Job Title: Finance Business Analyst

Job Description:

As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving finance transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for writing strong business cases, creating comprehensive business requirements, and leading finance workshops. Your expertise in data analysis, solution architecture, and data flows will be essential for project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write compelling business cases to support finance transformation initiatives.
• Create detailed business requirements documents capturing project needs and objectives.
• Facilitate and lead finance workshops to gather requirements, identify gaps, and define solutions.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement solution architectures aligned with business requirements and data flows.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and operations teams for successful project delivery.
• Provide guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the transformation process.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Preferred Software Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, budgeting, and data analysis.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation automation.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization.
• Familiarity with SQL for large datasets.
• Experience with finance software like Phinsys and PeopleSoft.
• Understanding of data governance and quality tools.

Qualifications:

• Degree or relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in finance transformation projects.
• Strong skills in writing business cases and requirements documents.
• Experience in facilitating finance workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Expertise in data analysis, solution architecture, and data flows.
• Experience in Lloyd's market insurance finance transformation is desirable.
• Experience with Phinsys is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
