Job description

Finance Business Analyst

Location: Northampton

Duration: until 31st December 2020

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Drive delivery through close collaboration with Technology and Finance colleagues.
  2. Be proficient in data analysis techniques, being able to review and summarise large volumes of data.
  3. Provide subject matter expertise on Customer source systems, Data warehouse applications, Master Data, and Hierarchy management.
  4. Work across workstreams ensuring full delivery within tough driven timelines.
  5. Analyse AS-IS process and system, present findings and recommendations for required change to sponsor/stakeholder for approval.
  6. Build solutions identifying innovative and pragmatic implementable ideas.
  7. Lead the implementation of solutions into the operational environment including preparation of user documentation.
  8. Provide post-implementation support to financial stakeholders and users ensuring change is implemented successfully in the line teams.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
  1. Data analysis.
  2. Knowledge and experience of Financial Control Processes and Systems.
  3. Leadership skills ensuring opinions are listened to and acted upon.
  4. Systems analysis techniques.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a large team.
  6. Full project lifecycle processes.
  7. Business analysis techniques.
  8. Expert user of Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  9. Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of banking services and products.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of risks, controls, risk management tools, and methodologies.
