Job summary

Harnham is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to support a Finance BI transformation in London, migrating from SQL Server/SSAS to a consolidated Microsoft Fabric FinanceBI semantic model. You will lead requirements gathering, specification development, UAT and change management, acting as the senior functional lead across multiple finance BI workstreams.

The role focuses on translating business needs into scalable data solutions, collaborating with Finance stakeholders, Architects, Developers

Qualifications

• Senior/Lead Business Analyst with BI, Data Warehouse, Analytics or Data Platform experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, producing functional specs and leading UAT processes.
• Strong stakeholder management across Finance and Technology teams.
• Mentoring BAs within project environments.
• Experience in Finance reporting or Finance transformation programmes.
• Understanding data modelling, reporting and analytics solutions.
• Ability to bring governance in a fast-moving agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements workshops with Finance stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Act as liaison between Finance and technology teams.
• Define data model, reporting and governance requirements.
• Support scalable ETL and reporting solution design.
• Own UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
• Coordinate change management activities for go-lives.
• Produce process maps, data dictionaries and documen­tation.
• Provide leadership to the BA pod and wider team.
• Support delivery across Finance BI workstreams.
