The Team

As a Finance BI Reporting Analyst, you will sit in a team of 2, reporting into the Head of Finance, BI Reporting and Controls. The team is laser focused onthinking insight and not simply numbers,adding value across the business and acting as apartner to the accounting team.

The Role

Our ever-expanding business is constantly changing as we add new revenue streams and suppliers all the time; so you will be seeking opportunities to use Tableau to automate processes whenever possible and develop flexible reports that can be easily maintained.

A core function of a BI Reporting Analyst is to utilise your SQL skills to deep dive into ourdata rich businessto respond to all sorts of ad hoc queries. On a typical day, you may be supporting the team through the month end close, helping troubleshoot problems and identifying areas for future improvement of processes or you may be working with product and data teams to support project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the finance teamsto deliverconsistent and reconciled data,automate processes(with appropriate checks in place) and buildtrust and confidencein data

• Support the analytical needs of finance by developingcompelling and interactivevisualisations and dashboards using Tableau, whilst also building out our Tableau suite of reporting to minimise rework

• Work closely with product and data teams to understand system developments, make impact assessments, and deliver quality requirements.

• Support the expansion ofself-serve capabilitywithin Finance

Experience

• Expertise in Tableau visualisation and dashboard design

• Excellent SQL skills

• Comfortable working in a high transactional volume, multi-currency and multinational environment

• An inquisitive and analytical mindset, able to quickly grasp the fundamentals of complex systems and processes, explaining and presenting them to others is an easy to understand way

• A proven track record indeveloping and enhancingexisting processes

• Able to work in afast-paced environmentand to re-prioritise in line with changing business needs

• Creative, but with a small egoto help achieve our ambitious plans

• Experience of working with multiple data sources especially AWS Athena (desirable)
