Job description

Finance & BI Analyst required for a leading professional services firm based in Birmingham. This position has arisen due to an increased need for dedicated financial analytical tools using the group's strong business intelligence suite.

As the Finance & BI Analyst, you will be utilising Power BI and their data-driven ERP system to develop insights around numerous financial and non-financial KPIs, and to develop insightful cash flow forecasting and analysis tools. You will be regularly presenting to department heads to communicate performance and deviation from expected budget or operational targets, and using your analytical skill set to provide strategic support to management and help improve performance.

You will work with an IT-literate team to continually improve processes and take advantage of the latest available developments in the MI/BI spaces.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA), though any strong QBE candidates with significant relevant experience are also invited to apply. You will have a good history working with Power BI and advanced use of Excel and Access databases. It would be advantageous to have used technically challenging ERP systems before, such as Anaplan or Cognos TM1, though experience with any large ERP system will suffice.
