Start Something Extraordinary…

Blank Street is seeking a sharp, resourceful Finance Associate to further build our team with analytical strength, business partnership, and operational acumen. We’re counting on you to bring clarity to complexity - whether that’s modelling the impact of a new cross-functional initiative, building decks that tell a clear financial story, or supporting critical day-to-day and one-off tasks that enable business continuity and responsiveness.

As our Finance Associate, you’ll be the connector across departments, fielding incoming questions, owning research task, making sure the finance function runs smoothly for everyone in the organisation. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives on variety and loves solving problems with numbers and narrative. You’ll learn fast, develop strong commercial acumen, and help take our finance function to the next level.

If you’re Excel-savvy, PowerPoint-polished, extremely detailed oriented and excited to get stuck into everything from end of month close decks to supplier follow-ups to business performance modelling—this is your shot. Think you're up for the challenge? Let's build together!

Our Values
  • DREAM BIG: We embrace new possibilities and perspectives that go beyond the expected.
  • START SMALL: We don’t wait for great things to happen - we take small steps that move us forward every day.
  • MAKE SOMEONE’S DAY: We live to create moments of joy.
  • MOVE AS ONE: We build better when we build together because the best customer experiences takes a team.
What You’ll Own

Delivering Strategic Financial Support

  • Act as a problem-solver for fast-moving requests across the business—from supplier follow-ups to commercial investigations
  • Conduct concise, high-quality research on competitors, macroeconomic trends, and industry developments to inform executive decision-making
  • Support FP&A, contract reviews, negotiations, and business case validation with data-backed insights and structured analysis

Building Models & Telling the Financial Story

  • Develop clean, flexible financial models that underpin key commercial decisions
  • Structure inputs and assumptions with clarity, ensuring outputs are easy to interpret and actionable
  • Create polished, executive-facing decks that bring data to life and help leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams make smart decisions

Partnering Across the Business

  • Work closely with multiple teams to evaluate opportunities, track performance, and improve decision-making
  • Be a trusted finance touchpoint—helping teams understand their numbers, navigate trade-offs, and stay aligned with business goals
  • Bring a solutions-oriented mindset to cross-functional collaboration, balancing pace with precision

Elevating the Finance Function

  • Improve templates, trackers, and workflows that keep the finance engine running efficiently and at scale
  • Identify bottlenecks or blind spots in reporting, modelling, or analysis—and proactively build better systems
  • Help create a finance function that’s known for clarity, agility, and business impact
Who We’re Looking For
  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in strategic finance roles (investment banking, corporate strategic finance or FP&A) ; experience with/in retail, consumer, or high-growth environments is a plus
  • Strong financial modelling skills in Excel, with the ability to structure clear, flexible models and confidently navigate formulas and basic scenario analyses
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills - you’re comfortable turning numbers into clear narratives, especially in PowerPoint, and can communicate effectively with team members from different professional backgrounds
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple requests, follow through reliably, and prioritise under pressure
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both HQ and field teams, and able to balance precision with pace
  • Secondary qualities include: familiarity with basic accounting principles, exposure to financial systems (e.g., NetSuite), or experience working directly with commercial or ops teams
Benefits & Perks
  • Equity package
  • Private health and dental insurance
  • 25 days of paid annual leave (on top of bank holidays), along with an additional pay day a year ‘to start something extraordinary’ and pursue a passion
  • A salary sacrifice scheme to spend to cycle to work, bike subscriptions, and pension

  • Regular social outings with the team
