Acadian Asset Management LLC is a Boston-headquartered investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore, London, and Sydney. As of March 31, 2025, the firm managed approximately US$121 billion on behalf of major pension funds, endowments, foundations, governments and other investors based in the U.S. and abroad. Acadian Singapore services a portion of these global assets which are invested in various investment strategies by Asian clients through separately managed accounts, sub-advised UCITS funds, and alternative investment funds.**Position Overview:**We are seeking a Finance Associate to join the Singapore office of a Boston-based global asset management firm. This position plays a key role in supporting the firm’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) business, which includes offices in Singapore and Sydney and serves clients across the region. The Finance Associate will be responsible for a range of finance functions, including financial accounting, reporting and tax compliance. The position reports to the Regional Finance Controller in Sydney, and collaborates closely with colleagues on the Finance and Payroll teams, located in Boston. This is a broad-based role that provides critical support across APAC finance and accounting operations.Acadian supports a hybrid work environment, employees are on-site in the Singapore office 3 days a week.**What You’ll Do:*** Work with and oversee external accounting service providers to prepare monthly financial statements for reporting to the parent company* Support annual audit process and interact with external auditors* Prepare Singapore board materials, monthly forecasts and annual budget* Review and approve quarterly and annual filing, including MAS returns, GST, and corporate income tax, transfer pricing documentation* Produce client invoices, monitor rebates, assist with expense reports and invoice processing* Provide the Regional Financial Controller with operational support Assistance with Australian finance deliverables as needed* Assist with implementation and migration to a new accounting and finance system* Assist with payroll matters including but not limited to payroll processing, and employee tax filing such as IR8A**We’re Looking for Teammates With:*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA/CA designation* A minimum of 5 years of related experience* Commercial accounting experience* Familiarity working with outsourced accounting firms or shared service centers is a plus* Experience in system implementation and Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus* Must be proficient in Excel and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and how accounting software works* Must possess strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and be well organized* Possess a strong willingness to work on a wide breadth of responsibilities* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Demonstrates a strong ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment**Why Work Here:**Acadian is a quantitative investment firm where ideas are empowered by technology.
