Expro in Aberdeen seeks an Associate Accountant to join our Finance team, ensuring accurate processing, reporting and timely financial information. You will work with the wider finance team to support efficient financial operations and reporting cycles.

Responsibilities include balance sheet analysis, VAT processing, monthly revenue accruals, and collaboration with internal and external departments. A proactive, detail-oriented professional with SAP or similar experience will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience within a finance environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP or a similar Finance package.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, alongside proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist with analysing balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Tracking, maintaining and following up on balance sheet control accounts.
• Liaising and providing information to operational departments.
• Processing of UK VAT Return.
• Prepare accurate reports as required (e.g. weekly, monthly etc) in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly revenue accruals.
• Liaise with team members, internal and external departments as required to ensure questions are resolved promptly.
• Provide general administrative support to finance team.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies to maintain high ethical standards.
