Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Finance Associate - Accounts Payable Specialist (Associate) to perform a range of accounting tasks within a dynamic finance team. The role focuses on accurate invoice entry, timely payments, and maintaining strong supplier relationships across the accounts payable process.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of relevant experience or a third-level degree, with strong Excel/Office skills and familiarity with Workday or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Review automatic payments (e.g. direct debits) to ensure appropriately authorised and documentation received.
• Respond to external suppliers and internal colleagues regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
• Complete new supplier set up process.
• Assist with bank reconciliations.
• Provide support to the rest of the Finance as required.

MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience or a 3rd level degree.
