Qualifications

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role.
• A good understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
• A proactive and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records.
• Managing supplier payments and resolving queries.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Allocating incoming receipts and supporting sales ledger activities.
• Assisting with credit control where required.
• Completing daily bank reconciliations.
• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Assisting with accruals, prepayments and journal preparation.
• Preparing information for audits and financial reporting.
• Maintaining finance systems and supporting reporting requirements.
• Assisting with process improvements and finance projects.
• Providing general support across the wider finance team.
