A leading company in Burgess Hill is seeking a proactive Finance Assistant for a permanent, term-time role. The ideal candidate will support the finance team by processing financial documents, managing petty cash, and ensuring accurate financial records while working in a dynamic environment.

Burgess Hill, office based
Permanent (Term Time Only) - 30 hours per week
£12-£13p.h
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support a busy Finance/Business team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build on their financial administration experience and contribute to a rewarding cause.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process orders, receipts, invoices, and reconcile financial records
* Maintain accurate accounts and liaise with suppliers and contractors
* Support VAT returns
* Manage petty cash and ensure best value in financial processes
* Provide general financial admin support and guidance to staff
* Handle financial queries from suppliers and stakeholders
* Assist with filing and maintaining electronic records
* Contribute to improving financial systems and processes
* Cover reception and general office duties as required
