Job description

Temporary Finance Assistant - Immediate Start - Part-time/Full-time
Location: Fully On-Site - Malvern
Hours: 22.5 to 35 hours per week (flexible), core hours 8:30am-5:00pm
Contract Type: Temporary - minimum 4 weeks (reviewed weekly)
Hourly Rate: £13.74-£15.38 per hour (Equivalent to £25,000-£28,000 per annum FTE)

We are currently working with a valued client to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant to support their finance team during a period of staff absence. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a well-organised environment and provide immediate, hands-on support.

The role is fully office-based and offers flexible working hours within the company's core hours. While the initial assignment is expected to last a minimum of four weeks, the requirement will be reviewed on a weekly basis depending on internal staffing.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily cash book postings

Meeting monthly bank reporting requirements

Performing accurate bank reconciliations

Managing employee expenses using Concur

Supporting the purchase ledger function, including invoice processing

Carrying out general administrative tasks and providing wider support to the finance team as needed

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role

Strong understanding of standard finance processes including reconciliations and expense systems

Familiarity with Concur is desirable

High attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Competent user of Excel and financial systems
